This is Tessa from Esk’s memorial quilt made from fabric donated to Glenrock Quilters by her family and made by the group during a recent quilting retreat. It has been quilted with the Deb’s Swirls e2e machine quilting pattern.
The pink and brown quilt shows some great colour combinations and comes from Jan of Crow’s nest who has asked for the techno e2e machine quilting pattern. The blue and white quilt comes from Michelle of Millmerran and is being quilted in the roseleaves e2e to reflect the rose pattern in the background fabric.
The first quilt today comes from Chris at Highfields and is being quilted in the budget meandering leaves e2e machine quilting pattern. The purple quilt is from Edi at Mount Isa and is being quilted in the flower puff e2e pattern, while the star quilt from Gail at Cooroy is being quilted in the budget meander e2e pattern. The antique tractors quilt comes from Marie at Waterview, NSW and is also being quilted in the budget meander pattern, while the final quilt from Sue at Booval is being quilted in the stars and loops e2e pattern.
The first quilt is designed and made by Ann from Toowoomba who is using up her fabric stash. She chose the budget leaf meander e2e pattern for this quilt. The next three quilts came from Chinchilla the Aboriginal theme quilt is from Glenys who asked for a budget pattern, and the next two from Barbara where we have used the budget Deb’s Swirls and Ribbon Candy e2e patterns. The last quilt from Meryl at Aloomba in Cairns was bought as a strip fabric pack and the Bali Spice pattern from the KoolKat stand at last year’s annual quilt show in Toowoomba. It has been quilted in the Henna Leaf e2e pattern: label, binding and backing supplied by KoolKat Quilting.

Congratulations to entrants for the high stand of works submitted to AQC in 2015.
The quilt on the right comes from Trish from Pittsworth whom we caught up with at the Queen’s Park craft markets in Toowoomba yesterday. She asked for the budget I Love It trailing hearts e2e machine quilting pattern on her quilt. Rose from Stirling W.A. sent the fairy quilt which is being quilted with the daisy chain e2e machine quilting pattern.
Today’s quilts feature a musical theme quilt for a music lover and a floral applique quilt. The bottom quilt comes from Pam of Toowoomba who chose charcoal thread, a red Caribbean backing and the daisy chain e2e machine quilting pattern. We chose the flower puff e2e machine quilting pattern to compliment the applique in Janette’s quilt which arrived today from Roma.
