This colourful sashiko quilt from Trish at Banora Point, NSW is being quilted with the dragonflies e2e machine quilting pattern. KoolKat Quilting chose a charcoal thread to blend with the background of the sashiko panels and this has minimal impact as the photos above demonstrate. We also use this technique for applique, candle-wicking, red-work or any similar quilting where there are feature blocks.
Two quilts, one with blue, one with red borders, arrived from Elizabeth at Quirindi in NSW today. The blue quilt has a nautical theme and we chose the plush e2e machine quilting pattern http://www.koolkatquilting.com/about-our-quilting/our-quilting-patterns/
For the second quilt we chose the stars and loops e2e. Win from Cairns sent the purple quilt and she asked for the budget I Love It trailing hearts e2e.
The yellow quilt is from Gayle of Miles on Queensland’s Darling Downs and is being quilted in the dragonflies e2e machine quilting pattern in a lemon thread. KoolKat Quilting supplied a yellow Caribbean backing for this quilt. Julia from Karana Downs sent us the Tsuru quilt and asked that supply a new pattern, Not Square e2e, and a navy thread.
Due to rising costs and the impact of the falling $A, our wadding/batting and backing prices have increased. Please click on the link above for the latest information.
The orange and green quilt comes from Alison at Mudgeeraba and has been quilted with the daisy chain e2e machine quilting pattern. Jenny from Toowoomba sent us this quilt for a service man and it has been quilted in the ribbon candy e2e. Leanne from Dalby brought us this double wedding ring quilt and she chose the bountiful feathers e2e for her quilt. Anne from Toowoomba is using up her fabric stash to make this charity quilt, which is being quilted in the budget loop-d-loop e2e pattern.
