More quilts at KoolKat today

The Hero’s Herald quilt comes from Bronwyn at Highfields and is being quilted with the budget loop-d-loop e2e.  The black, white and red quilt is from Christine at Burleigh Heads and is being quilted with the petal power e2e, while the motorbike quilt from Marie at Surat is being quilted with the flames e2e in an orange thread.  The boating quilt is from Nerridah at Meringandan and is being quilted with the Ebb an Flow e2e.

Quilts from the other side of the country

Mem and Kim from Gidgegannup, W.A. sent these quilts as part of the SC Quilters special April offer.  The first quilt is being quilted with the techno e2e machine quilting pattern, the black quilt with triangles is being quilted with the happy times e2e, the batik quilt with fern gully e2e, and the black, white and red quilt with the swirls e2e pattern.

Butterfly quilt wings in from Bouldercome

The first quilt from Julia at Karana Downs is a Japanese taupe fabrics quilt being quilted with the yo yo e2e machine quilting pattern in a navy thread, and Julia pink quilt of many pieces, is being quilted with the budget loop-d-loop e2e.  Ula from Nicholson Victoria took advantage of the SCQuilters April offer, and her quilt is being quilted with the alfresco e2e.  Liane from Bouldercombe sent another Bali Butterfly design quilt is striking blue colours, and this quilt is being quilted with the butterfly flurry e2e.  The Bali Butterfly pattern is available via our website.

Pittsworth quilter celebrates school centenary with special quilt.

Janelle from Pittsworth made this quilt to celebrate the centenary of a local school at Pittsworth. She also asked for a label to be made to go with the quilt.  Jenny from Toowoomba made her first quilt recently and brought to KoolKat for quilting with the budget meandering leaves e2e pattern, while Jilly from Croydon, NSW, also sent a quilt for budget quilting, with the trailing hearts e2e pattern.

KoolKat receives quilts from across Queensland

 

The first quilt is a cot quilt from Glenda of Toowoomba and it is being quilted with the budget meander e2e pattern.  The king single size quilt from Jennifer at Brookfield is being quilted with the Baptist fane e2e and the strip pieced quilt from Samantha at Cloncurry is being quilted with the flower puff e2e.  The final quilt is from Teresa at Alderley and is being quilted with the stars and loops e2e pattern.

Another win for Rosebud quilt

Congratulations to Cecily Hamilton who won Viewer’s Choice at the recent Roma Quilt Show with Kathy’s prize-winning quilt pattern design “Gather Ye Rosebuds”.  The Rosebud quilt has won several wards, both here and overseas.  This and other patterns of Kathy’s can be seen at Kathy ‘s Gallery on our website www.koolkatquilting.com, and are available through our eBay store.

Busy week at KoolKat

The pink quilt is from Chris in Toowoomba and is being quilted with the paisley playtime e2e pattern.  The next quilt is from her friend Alison from Gooburrum near Bundaberg, and this is being quilted with the budget I love it trailing hearts pattern.  The yellow border quilt is from Elizabeth at Quirindi, NSW and is being quilted with the fire flower e2e pattern.  The oriental quilt comes from Jan at Mackay Harbour and is being quilted with the alfresco e2e.  The king size star quilt comes from Susan at Silver Ridge near Toowoomba, while the cot quilt is from Toowoomba and is for Dione’s nephew.
