Latest News KoolKat Quilting

Please note:  KoolKat has reopened for 2024 but will close during March while relocating to new premises.  You may send quilts during March, but these won’t be done until April.  As we are moving to a smaller urban size block. with less work in the yard, our quilt drop off and collection service from our new location will no longer be available.  Please use our PO Box 18 Harlaxton 4350 to send quilts. For local customers 4350 and Highfields we will pick up and collect by prior arrangement for a fee of $10.00.

PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU DO THE FOLLOWING

Please don’t expect us to find you have changed your email or any other address and haven’t brought this to our attention, especially during a busy period. If you haven’t received our usual prompt email say within one week, please follow up yourself, especially the emails we send to an apparently valid address don’t bounce.

Secondly absolutely no 2″ wide material binding.

ONLY ever 2 1/2 ” – 2″ is too hard to work with, especially our machine method of double sided binding.

Thirdly CHECK the perimeter of the quilt, THEN be generous with the binding length you send.

We haven’t charged for the inconvenience, but may do so in future.

CHANGES TO TERMS AND CONDITIONS

A couple of things to take note of:

1. For reasons of location, we will be ceasing the drop and pick up facility. This will mean there will be no drop off and collection box..

Toowoomba and Highfields 4350/2 customers will be offered a delivery service at $10 by prior arrangement only. Our new street address will not be on our new letterhead. There will no longer be any face to face contact.

KoolKat is an online machine quilting service, we are not a shop, despite Google.

2. If we judge that all of the quilts arrive at different times, and they could arrived together, we will charge for that repeat posting. You can avoid this by ensuring items arrive together in ONE parcel, even using tape to strap two parcels together.

3. We are now recovering costs for use of credit cards. To avoid this you should be using bank, or EFT transfer.
