Ribbon fill and I Love It e2e patterns
The grey quilt was made by Alison from Mudgeeraba and is being quilted with the ribbon fill e2e machine quilting pattern. Janet from Middle Ridge made the “Scarlette Grace” quilt for which she chose the budget I Love It trailing hearts e2e pattern.
KoolKat quilts bound for Brisbane
The first quilt is from Margaret of Kenmore and this is being quilted with the not so square e2e machine quilting pattern. Robyn from Teneriffe sent the cot quilt which is one of the first quilts she has made, and this was quilted with the budget I Love it trailing hearts pattern. Both quilts are to be finished with complete binding.
Some unpicking before we can start quilting
Lyn from Chinchilla brought us this quilt which has been sitting in her cupboard for 12 months. First we had to us pick the quilting which had been commenced as our machine quilting works with separated layers – quilt top, batting and backing

Lyn chose the budget I Love It trailing hearts pattern and asked to finish the quilt by binding both sides. She will collect this quilt today or Monday prior to returning home.

This pretty pink quilt (left below) is from Jilly of Croydon, NSW and is being quilted in the budget I Love It trailing hearts edge-to-edge machine quilting pattern. Next to this are 2 pillow covers from Jo of Rosewood, the other part of the bed quilt set quilted yesterday. The bottom quilt comes from Jodie of Fortitude Valley, Brisbane, and is being quilted in the Jasmine e2e machine quilting pattern.
Sunday morning coming down at KoolKat
We don’t normally work on Sundays, but it made sense as tomorrow is set aside for machine maintenance and repair. One never turns down a booking for sewing machine maintenance person. The first quilt is another large quilt from Christina of Toowoomba and it is being quilted in the budget I Love It trailing hearts e2e machine quilting pattern, as is the quilt from Sandy of Toowoomba further below. Sandy often requests labels for her quilts and two of these are also featured below.
