KoolKat at Scout Group Quilt Show in Ipswich next month

Samples of new craft products range

The KoolKats will have a stall at the inaugural Queens Park Scout Group Quilt Show which will be held in Ipswich on Friday-Saturday 13-4 March. The venue is the Uniting Church Hall cnr Glebe and Green streets, not far from Queens Park, Ipswich. Opening hours are 9am to 4pm for the two days.  Kathy has been busy in her workshop this year, so our stall will have a new look featuring a new range of hand-made craft products.

Year of the Cat ( & the occasional Dog)   Kathy of KoolKat Quilting has been busy working on a new theme of individual craft items for 2015.  She is pursuing a feline theme, but working across various media that includes ceramic sculpture as well as fabric products. The KoolKat stall will be quite different this year, and the first outing showing some of these works will be the Inaugural Queen’s Park Scouts Quilt Show.  We will also be attending the monthly Queen’s Park craft markets in Toowoomba, but more about that when we are ready to have our first stall.  The occasional dog? – that is part of an exhibition piece called “True Blue”.  It has been completed and is awaiting a decision on whether it will be accepted for entry in its first intended showing.
