Interesting hexagonal quilt at KoolKat today

Here’s an interesting hexagonal quilt from Lyle of Toowoomba.  She asked for the daisy chain e2e machine quilting pattern in an aqua thread for this quilt.  Thank you those who have completed the survey included as a link in yesterday’s email newsletter.  We look forward to receiving more surveys today, as the results are both interesting and helpful.

The first quilt today is from Janell of Quilpie who adapted Kathy’s Thoroughly Modern pattern from a workshop held with Quilpie Quilters Inc. in Quilpie last year..  She asked for the belladonna e2e machine quilting pattern on her quilt.  The second 2 cot quilts have been made by Kathy Adams as turns her stash into saleable quilts ahead of various quilt show stalls KoolKat will be holding later this year. The tow batik quilts are from Maria at Fig Tree Pocket, Brisbane, and these are being quilted with the jasmine and fireflies e2e patterns.  The last quilt is from Jennine of Gayndah and has been quilted wit the daisy chain e2e pattern.

Double the fun at KoolKat

The first quilts are two with a Mickey Mouse theme fabrics from Glenda of Toowoomba and these are being quilted with the budget meander e2e machine quilting pattern.  The next two quilts are form a mother and daughter team at Warrnambool, Victoria, the lime quilt is from Andrea and the pink quilt from Cheryl – the lime quilt is being quilted with the daisy chain e2e and the pink quilt with the cute curls e2e.  The Japanese fabric quilt is another quilt from Glenda, and this one is being quilted with the maru bishamon e2e.

On the long arm machines today at KoolKat

The Kaffe Fasset quilt comes from Jane at the Gold Coast and is being quilted with the Daisy Chain e2e machine quilting pattern.  The next three quilts were dropped off yesterday by Vicki from Brookstead on the Eastern Darling Downs and were quilted in several different budget range e2e patterns.

Quilts from Toowoomba

The quilt with the embroidery hearts comes from Jocelyn, who asked up trim around the edge of the blocks with the embroidery.  She chose the daisy chain e2e machine quilting pattern for this quilt.  The second quilt is from Margaret and she chose the not square e2e pattern for this quilt which is for her grand-son.

Quilts from the west to the coast

The first two quilts are from Christa at Nambour, the first quilted is being quilted with the Baptist fan e2e machine quilting pattern and the child’s quilt in the going bananas e2e.  The next batch of quilts is from Blackall, where Jean has encouraged her club members to take advantage of our current offer.  The two identical quilts are for Jean’s grand-daughters, and they have been quilted with the ribbon candy e2e. The black and red floral quilt is from Gladys and has been quilted with the daisy chain e2e, while Sandra’s quilt has been quilted with the jasmine e2e

From Charleville to the coast

The first 2 quilts are from Adma near Charleville, the first is being quilted with the paisley playtime e2e machine quilting pattern and the pink cot quilt with the flower puff e2e pattern.  The blue and white quilt is from Jennifer of Brookfield and she has asked for the halcyon e2e pattern in close quilting.  The brown quilt is also from Charleville, this time from Pat, and is being quilted with the daisy chain e2e pattern.

Today’s quilts at KoolKat

The orange and green quilt comes from Alison at Mudgeeraba and has been quilted with the daisy chain e2e machine quilting pattern.  Jenny from Toowoomba sent us this quilt for a service man and it has been quilted in the ribbon candy e2e.  Leanne from Dalby brought us this double wedding ring quilt and she chose the bountiful feathers e2e for her quilt. Anne from Toowoomba is using up her fabric stash to make this charity quilt, which is being quilted in the budget loop-d-loop e2e pattern.

Country customers important to KoolKat Quilting

Kerry from Warialda in northern NSW dropped in this quilt today while here in Toowoomba.  She will be collect it tomorrow morning, an example of KoolKat Quilting’s service to our rural customers.  Kerry chose the budget meandering leaves pattern for her quilt.  We welcome new customer Jean from Blackall for the aqua and brown quilt and she asked for a quilt design “without flowers, for a man”.  We chose the simplicity e2e machine quilting pattern. Another new customer, Rosa from Mudjimba,sent us a cot quilt which we are quilting in the daisy chain e2e pattern.
