Hearts, quilt label and not square pattern

The first quilt is the last of a set of 3 by Donna from Roma and is being quilted with the hearts e2e machine quilting pattern. The next quilt was made by Gail from Sanctuary Cove and features an embroidered quilt label. The dachshund quilt is being quilted with the not square pattern and was made by Barb from Meringandan.  The final quilting is a black wholecloth  piece being quilted with the pebble fill pattern in an aqua thread.

Free motion quilting and wool couching demonstration.

Here is Kat demonstrating free motion quilting and wool couching on day 5 of the Kat’s Open studio on the Quilts, Stitches and Textiles trail during Carnival of Flowers week.  Meanwhile quilting continues – two quilts made by Jan from Sherwood featuring the dragonflies machine quilting pattern.

Starlight and damask quilting patterns, Kat’s Open Studio.

These are two of Hilda’s quilts from Mitchell.  The first is being quilted with the starlight e2e pattern and the second with the damask pattern. Below is a brace of embroiderers from Toowoomba visiting Kat’s Open Studio today

Deb’s feathers, pebble fill and bush berries patterns

Today’s quilts are all knee rugs or cot quilts.  The first is from Pat from South Australia currently staying in Mitchell, and is being quilted with the deb’s feathers e2e pattern.  The second quilt is from Linda from Newmarket and is being quilted with the pebble fill pattern.  The final quilt was made by Liz from The Dawn and is being quilted with the bush berries pattern.
