After cancellation due to Covid, the long running annual Christmas in the Country market returns to Gatton.
It will be held at Peace Lutheran primary school on Saturday morning November 5 at 36 East Street, Gatton.
Kat’s Kool Kreations will be there with a range of textile art and craft pieces including Kat’s signature bags with beautiful embroidery decoration.

Kat’s Kool Kreations has produced six panels as part of a display to commemorate Anzac day this year at the Crow’s Nest Community Arts and Crafts Centre. The sun scallops e2e pattern is being used which complements the rising sun symbol.

Two king size quilts today. The first is a minimalist style by Kat for the Kat’s Kool Kreations stall at Crow’ Nest community arts centre. The second comes from Anne at Mount Isa and is being quilted with the budget Deb’s Swirls pattern.

As Kat’s Kool Kreations, Kat Adams has been renowned maker of craft pieces such as bags, zip cases, runners, etc, whose work has been a bright and colourful feature at many art and craft stalls in the region.
Last year, she was featured in a textile artists’ studio trail at which a number of her larger pieces were featured.
She is now displaying these works in addition to her more familiar smaller pieces at Crow’s Nest this month. The exhibition opens daily from 9.30-.400.
Kat’s Kool Kreations can be seen at the Crow’s Nest Community Arts and Crafts Centre. There will be no markets this year – this is your chance to purchase quality crafts and textile art items.
The first quilt (3 photos) was made by Kat from KoolKat for sale, and will be displayed at the Crow’s Nest Arts and Craft Centre when it re-opens (if not sold prior). It features blocks of Bali floral pattern with black and other Bali pieces, with an aqua backing. It has been quilted with the new daisies e2e machine quilting pattern in an aqua thread.
The Bambi quilt comes from Barbara of Oakey and is being quilted with the I Love It trailing hearts pattern.
Kat from KoolKat made this 2.1m square batik quilt which is being quilted with the new shamrock meander e2e pattern. The quilt is priced at $275 and is available from Kat’s studio.
