Kat Adams is featured artist at Crow’s Nest, Queensland.

Textile Artist Kat Adams is the featured exhibitor in the “Basement” at the Crow’s Nest Arts and Crafts centre in William Street this month.https://www.crowsnestartsandcrafts.com.au/the-basement/
As Kat’s Kool Kreations, Kat Adams has been renowned maker of craft pieces such as bags, zip cases, runners, etc, whose work has been a bright and colourful feature at many art and craft stalls in the region.
Last year, she was featured in a textile artists’ studio trail at which a number of her larger pieces were featured.
She is now displaying these works in addition to her more familiar smaller pieces at Crow’s Nest this month.  The exhibition opens daily from 9.30-.400.

Hearts and swirls, grape leaves, lucky charms, maple leaf and swirls e2e machine quilting patterns

The first 3 quilts arrived from Julia at Mount Isa.  They are being quilted with hearts and swirls, grape leaves and lucky charms e2e machine quilting patterns.  The next 2 are from Ivanka at Crow’s Nest.  The first is being quilted with the maple leaves pattern and the king size sea quilt with the swirls pattern.

Ebb and flow, plush e2e, jelly roll quilts.

The first 2 quilts came from kathy of Toowoomba – the first is being quilted with the ebb and flow pattern, the second with plush.  Two jelly roll quilts from Crow’s Nest, the pink made by Helen and the green by Jan, both showing different approaches to the same technique.

Contrasting blue and yellow quilts at KoolKat

The blue quilt with coloured squares comes from Carolyn of Ipswich and is being quilted with the leaf meander e2e machine quilting pattern.  The yellow and charcoal quilts is from Jan of Crow’s Nest and is being quilted with the budget meander e2e machine quilting pattern.

Today’s quilts from the eastern Darling Downs

The pink and brown quilt shows some great colour combinations and comes from Jan of Crow’s nest who has asked for the techno e2e machine quilting pattern.  The blue and white quilt comes from Michelle of Millmerran and is being quilted in the roseleaves e2e to reflect the rose pattern in the background fabric.
