Quilting voucher winner praises KoolKat service

Kay from Charters Towers

Hi all,

I received a Quilting voucher from Koolkat Quilting at the Hobart Retreat (Southern Cross Quilters 2014)

I sent my Bonnie Hunter 2015 Mystery Quilt to them – and I have it back all done in less than a week.

Postage to and from them is free.  The work is good and so quick.

I can really recommend them.

Country customers important to KoolKat Quilting

Kerry from Warialda in northern NSW dropped in this quilt today while here in Toowoomba.  She will be collect it tomorrow morning, an example of KoolKat Quilting’s service to our rural customers.  Kerry chose the budget meandering leaves pattern for her quilt.  We welcome new customer Jean from Blackall for the aqua and brown quilt and she asked for a quilt design “without flowers, for a man”.  We chose the simplicity e2e machine quilting pattern. Another new customer, Rosa from Mudjimba, sent us a cot quilt which we are quilting in the daisy chain e2e pattern.

Quilter claims KoolKat machine quilting prize from quilting convention

Kay from Charters Towers won the KoolKat Quilting machine quilting voucher at the Southern Cross Quilters (SCquilters) convention held in Tasmania last year.  We have chosen the Bohemia e2e machine quilting pattern for this quilt and teamed it with lemon thread and yellow Caribbean backing.

The pink and brown quilt shows some great colour combinations and comes from Jan of Crow’s nest who has asked for the techno e2e machine quilting pattern.  The blue and white quilt comes from Michelle of Millmerran and is being quilted in the roseleaves e2e to reflect the rose pattern in the background fabric.

From Chinchilla to Cairns

The first quilt is designed and made by Ann from Toowoomba who is using up her fabric stash. She chose the budget leaf meander e2e pattern for this quilt.  The next three quilts came from Chinchilla the Aboriginal theme quilt is from Glenys who asked for a budget pattern, and the next two from Barbara where we have used the budget Deb’s Swirls and Ribbon Candy e2e patterns.  The last quilt from Meryl at Aloomba in Cairns was bought as a strip fabric pack and the Bali Spice pattern from the KoolKat stand at last year’s annual quilt show in Toowoomba. It has been quilted in the Henna Leaf e2e pattern: label, binding and backing supplied by KoolKat Quilting.
